The Process
The first step is a conversation about your vision for the painting, including the subject and size. It’s important to me that we establish a shared goal that we both connect with—only then can I create the best possible artwork for you. This initial consultation takes 30–60 minutes and is completely free of charge.
Reference photos are also an important part of the process. You can provide them, or we can discuss how I can assist you in gathering the right images. Based on these references, I will create several small sketches and develop three colored variations. You can choose one or request adjustments. After this, I will create a larger digital version to give you a clearer idea of the final painting’s direction. At this stage, you have one last opportunity to request modifications. This second step takes several days and requires a deposit to proceed.
Then, I begin the actual painting process using oil paints. This marks the final phase of the commission and will only start once the full agreed amount has been paid. Throughout the creation process, I will keep you regularly updated on the progress.
